Head Teacher's Introduction
|
|
Welcome. It is with great pride that I present our school to you.
The New Forest Church of England Primary school is situated in the rural villages of Landford and Nomansland surrounded by The New Forest National Park, a protected area of outstanding beauty. The school's rich history can be traced back to 1842. |

Today the school is bursting with vitality and energy. It is a place where children really enjoy their learning, a place where young people begin their journey of educational discovery. It is also a place where friendships are made, team spirit is encouraged and where children learn the value of doing something to the best of one's ability.
The teaching staff works hard to create an environment which celebrates and acknowledges individual achievement and effort. We aim to educate the whole child, valuing the importance of children's academic, moral, social and cultural development.
The children receive a stimilating curriculum, a vibrant extra-curricular programme, quality coaching in sport and many opportunities for involvement in music.
Pupils need nurturing to be successful adults of the future. They need to develop their skills in creativity and innovation. They need to be articulate and confident and not afraid of facing challenges.
All children in our school are valued as individuals. The school is large enough to be able to offer flexibility in its organisation but small enough to ensure that all children's needs are well-known to the teaching staff.
I hope that you enjoy browsing the pages of this website. However, to really get to know us you need to visit!
We hope that you will want to come and see for yourself just what we can offer you and your child.
