For us as parents, the highlights of the School Year must be the sensational Christmas and Summer Drama Productions, and Sports Day where competition is keen. The children stage Music and Poetry recitals, and hold events where classes show us their recent project work.
Three times a year, the whole school gathers either at St. Peters, Bramshaw or St. Andrews, Landford, where we were hold our Christmas, Easter and Leavers' services. We also celebrate Harvest Festival in Landford Village Hall, and join with our local community at the popular Christingle service.
Six times a year you'll receive a packed Newsletter showing what the children have been doing both at school and away on school trips, as well as sports results. The Teachers' Letters will keep you informed about the teaching plans for each class. Virtually all parental letters are sent to you by ParentMail from Sue and Jackie, our administrators - they'll need your current home email address - do keeping checking your inboxes!

School is also a place where your assistance is always appreciated. You can help in the class, listening to the individual children reading and even assist in the practical lessons, like cooking and sewing. If you have a special talent or interest, how about running an after school club or activity. If you've got a spare afternoon, come along to the School Matches and support our School Teams!
Both School Trips and Sports Matches rely on parents to help out and accompany the children. If you want to help by transporting the children around - you must have a completely clean driving licence.
Occasionally we need volunteers to come into school for a hour or so in the evening or on the weekend to help with some of the special projects in the grounds - they are both worthwhile and rewarding.
If time is short, you can still help out - supermarkets often run schools promotions and we collect the vouchers. Ask your friends, families and work colleagues to collect them for us too - they do make a difference.
Finally, if you have sufficient time and enthusiasm, and want to contribute to defining the school's future, consider putting yourself forward to become a School Governor.
